Here it is! I have been sitting around the studio all day trying to figure out how I was going to decorate these 20 bowls that I made last night! After looking through books to find inspiration, I found it!! I love this image! It is so simple. This is just a test bowl that I will be keeping so.... But I will have 20 of them for sale in June at my studio!
This is what I am working on tomorrow! :) I am thinking about using different colors behind the crow like on my little vases, haven't' really decided that yet! Like maybe do five in one color and so on. Don't know as of yet! I will figure this out tomorrow! Oh yeah I also have to decorate 40 ingredient bowls tomorrow!
Good night and thanks again for reading. Stay tuned.

New works, same directions!
Hello readers!!
It makes me happy to know that people are actually reading my blog! And for that I thank you! When I first Started blogging, I was kind of scared when I saw that people were reading what I was writing!
Anywhoo, I pulled work out of the kiln on Friday morning! I was as you know getting ready for the Studio Tour exhibit, which you will be happy to know I got my work in on time!! So, I pulled work out of the kiln at around 7 or so in the morning, and I was overcome with joy! The work that I had in the kiln came out perfectly!! I was smiling for hours afterwords. While I had a lot of gluing to do I was still really happy!

This is one of the jems that came out of the kiln the other day. Along with two domed vases at the top! I added the knotted balls of clay.
These little babies also came out the kiln! They are so freaking cute!!! The inside is a really deep yellow, they should look really nice with flowers in them!
This piece is the biggest wall platter I think I will ever make! I would like to make another one at another time. I might not have one in time for this upcoming Studio Tour, perhaps December!? We will see.
Anyways if you haven't already followed me on twitter please be sure to do so @triaturrougirl and like me on Facebook/triaturroustudios.
And as always thank you for reading and stay tuned!

Finishing things up
Tonight I have been glazing trying to finish up some pieces that are going to go into the craft shop, I finally finished glazing them!!! YAY! I have also been painting a small shelve unit that my mom bought for display purposes. I am going to use it at the craft shop to display my small ingredient bowls. I went down to the craft shop today to see about setting it up and the bowls would not stay up, so I brought the whole thing home and glued down some thin strips of wood and guess what that fixed it, so now I am painting the shelves and will take it back down to the shop tomorrow and set up my ingredient bowl display(I will take pictures once I have it set up).
On my way back from the craft shop this evening I was thinking about making more ingredient bowls, like with skulls in them and birds, then I had the thought to use this decals transfer paper behind the bird image!

Perhaps trying something like this only on a smaller surface and with a bird thrown in! It's just something is on my mind I suppose.
I will post more pictures of completed work for the studio tour exhibit and pictures of finished vases when they come out of the kiln on Friday!
Once again I would like to thank you for reading and as always stay tuned!
